Disazo condensation
Two monoazo are condensed by coupling compounds to a aromatic diamond carbonamide to form the Disazo Condensation base structure:
D-N=N-C-CONH-Ar-HNOC-C-N=N-D
D = Monoazo
C = Coupling Compound
Ar = Diamino Carbon amide
Many different pigments include this base structure. Good chemical resistance, heat stability, and weather resistance are key properties of this chemical class, which is often used in plastic applications.
